These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of StationQR.com (the “Service”), a directory website listing station QR codes used with UTS (Unreserved Ticketing System) and RailOne for unreserved train ticket bookings at Indian Railway stations. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
StationQR.com is an independent, informational directory. We display station names, station codes, and QR codes that link to the relevant UTS/RailOne booking flow for that station, to help passengers locate the correct QR quickly. We are not the operator of UTS, RailOne, IRCTC, or Indian Railways, and we do not process bookings, tickets, or payments ourselves. No account or sign-up is required to use the Service.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial, lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or railway ticketing regulations
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or republish the directory content at scale without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or networks
- Use the Service to facilitate ticketless travel, ticket touting, or any fraudulent booking activity
3. Directory Content and Accuracy
QR codes, station codes, and related details are compiled from publicly available railway sources. Railway authorities may add, change, or discontinue stations, station codes, or QR codes at any time without notice to us. While we aim to keep listings accurate and current, we do not guarantee that any QR code or station information on the Service is complete, accurate, or up to date at the time you use it.
You are responsible for verifying any QR code or booking detail against the official UTS/RailOne app or official station signage before relying on it for ticket purchase or travel.
4. No Affiliation with Railway Authorities
StationQR.com is an independent third-party platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Indian Railways, IRCTC, the Ministry of Railways, any zonal railway, or the developers/operators of the UTS or RailOne applications. All railway trademarks, names, and logos referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and informational purposes.
5. Third-Party Apps and Payment Systems
Any ticket booking, payment, or transaction you make happens entirely within the official UTS/RailOne app or other official railway channels, which are outside our control. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, security, or outcome of any booking or payment made through those third-party systems.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StationQR.com and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed trains, failed or incorrect bookings, financial loss, or penalties imposed by railway authorities, whether arising from outdated information, third-party app issues, or any other cause.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold StationQR.com and its operators harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The StationQR.com name, logo, website design, and original content are owned by StationQR.com. Station-related information sourced from public railway data remains the property of the relevant railway authorities.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
